On Saturday, the head of the Extension Movement, Alaa Al-Rikabi, described the American embassy in Baghdad as the arm supporting the Zionist entity, stressing the necessity of closing it in response to the crimes of the Zionist entity.

Al-Rikabi said in an interview with the Maalouma Agency, “There are direct requests submitted to the Prime Minister to send strongly worded messages to the American embassy for its support of the Zionist entity.”
He added, "The government must close all embassies supporting the Zionist entity," stressing "the necessity of examining the seriousness of the conspiratorial project of diplomatic missions and taking a courageous national decision."
Al-Rikabi called on the government to "take immediate action through its diplomatic channels to prevent any diplomatic support for the Zionist entity by diplomatic missions operating in Iraq."
A number of representatives had previously begun collecting parliamentary signatures to close the American embassy in Baghdad. Ended / 25 H
