    Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani and head of the Taqaddam Party, Muhammad al-Halbousi, stressed the importance of accelerating the formation of local governments.

    Al-Sudani’s office said in a statement, “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani received, this Sunday evening, the head of the Taqaddum Party, Muhammad Rikan al-Halbousi.”
     
    During the meeting, according to the statement, “the general conditions in the country were discussed, and the importance of supporting the government’s efforts to proceed with the implementation of development plans in accordance with what it pledged in its executive program.”


     
    The meeting also witnessed "an emphasis on the importance of concerted efforts of the political forces that won the provincial council elections, in order to accelerate the formation of local governments, which will help enhance stability in our provinces."
