The Ministry of Electricity announced maintenance of generating stations throughout Iraq, which produce more than 15 thousand megawatts.
According to a document issued by the ministry, which Al-Iqtisad News obtained, it “conducted maintenance during a full year on 50 power stations throughout Iraq, whose production reaches more than 15 thousand megawatts.”
During the period of low load, the Ministry maintains the power stations in order to use them during the peak period during the summer.
