The Minister of Electricity, Engineer Ziyad Ali Fadel, announced on Friday that the Iraqi-Jordanian electricity connection in its first phase is about to be operational in the coming days.
The media office of the Ministry of Electricity said, in a statement received by Al-Maalouma, that “Minister Fadel confirmed that in the coming days the first phase of the (Iraqi-Jordanian) electrical connection will be operated for the benefit of the regions west of Anbar.”
He added, "Work is underway to complete the (Iraqi-Gulf) electrical connection."
