The leader of the Coordination Framework, Issam Shaker, confirmed on Wednesday that we have not determined the direction of our support for a specific candidate for the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Shaker said in an interview with Al-Maalouma, "The Coordination Framework agreed that next Saturday's session would be decisive in choosing the Speaker of the House of Representatives, in coordination with the Sunni forces in all their forms."
He added, "The ball is in the court of the Sunni powers to determine who they want for this important position, but until this moment, there has been no full agreement, stressing that the coming days may yield specific results."
He pointed out that "the framework forces have not yet determined the compass of which candidates they will support for the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives, and opinions are still mixed, but in any case, Saturday's session will be decisive in the choice."
It is noteworthy that the Coordination Framework called on the political forces to attend the session next Saturday in order to decide the vote on a candidate for the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives. End 25 F
