Al-Sudani: We killed {the governor of Iraq}

In a new security achievement, added to what the government has achieved in several files, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani, announced yesterday, Tuesday, the killing of the so-called (Wali of Iraq) in the terrorist ISIS gangs, and (8) of its senior leaders.
According to security information, this operation was planned (4) months ago, under the direction and follow-up of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, as it continued throughout the hours of the night before last (Monday) until what was planned was implemented. The Prime Minister said in a tweet on the Aks platform: "I congratulate our honorable people on the killing of the so-called (Wali of Iraq) in the terrorist ISIS gangs, and (8) of its senior leaders, in the heroic, qualitative operation of the Counter-Terrorism and National Security Service, under the supervision of the joint operations, which targeted the terrorist dens where they were hiding in the Hamrin Mountains." He added, "We support the heroes of all our security forces, and we affirm that there is no place for terrorists in Iraq, and we will pursue them to their hideouts and eliminate them, until the land of Iraq is purified from them and their sinful actions." The Joint Operations Command confirmed in a statement that "thanks to the directives and continuous follow-up of the Commander-in-Chief, and through a distinguished, heroic, qualitative operation by the brave men of the Counter-Terrorism Service and the National Security detachments, (9) terrorists were killed, including the so-called (Wali of Iraq), the criminal called (Jassim Al Mazrouei Abu Abdul Qader), in addition to other leaders from the first line of the terrorist ISIS gangs," indicating that "their names and details will be announced later after conducting a thorough DNA examination."
