    Information/ Baghdad..
MP Mukhtar al-Moussawi predicted on Tuesday that Saturday's session would be decisive in choosing the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Al-Moussawi said in an interview with Al-Maalouma, "A growing political movement began a few days ago, led by several forces, including Sunnis, to proceed with resolving the issue of the position of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, which has been delayed for many months due to Sunni-Sunni differences in the first place."
He added, "The Coordination Framework's call to hold a session on Saturday to decide on the position of the Speaker of the House of Representatives comes as a culmination of the movement in light of the existence of agreements to support the decision-making option between all parties, stressing that MP Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani is currently the most prominent candidate for the position."
He pointed out that "according to our readings, Saturday's session will be decisive, but the coming days will witness additional dialogues that may lead to greater consensus to move from this file to the rest of the other files that are awaiting resolution, in reference to the controversial laws."
It is noteworthy that the Sunni-Sunni differences were behind the delay in deciding on the selection of a candidate for the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives for many months. End 25 F
