62 billion dinars to support students sent to international universities

Yesterday, Tuesday, the Cabinet session witnessed the issuance of several important decisions, including the formation of a negotiating team to operate the fifth generation (5G) technology in Iraq.
In confirmation of the interest of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani in Iraqi students sent to international universities, he directed the addition of an amount of (62) billion dinars to the (2025) budget tables to support the students sent, in order to provide the requirements to complete their studies.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister's media office received by "Al-Sabah", the session "discussed the general conditions of the country, and followed up on various files, especially economic, developmental and service files, and what pertains to implementing the priorities of the government program."
As part of the government’s efforts to promote human rights in Iraq, the Council of Ministers approved the third periodic report on the Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance, and referred it to the Committee on Enforced Disappearances at the Human Rights Council in Geneva.
