    Information / Baghdad...
Barzani’s party standing against the judicial decisions issued by the Federal Court was not surprising, especially since such decisions are not in line with its ambitions to continue to control and acquire the region’s capabilities with regard to employee salaries and holding the elections process next June.

More important than that is the abolition of the quota on which the Democratic Party headed by Masoud Barzani relied greatly, but the tension created by that party will lead to obstructing the holding of the elections on the specified date.
This matter may drag the region into a major internal conflict and divide it into two halves, one of which supports the elections and the other is opposed, if not usurped by the opposition and the boycott.
In this regard, Thaer Makhif, representative of the coordinating framework, told Al-Maalouma, “The decision to boycott the elections by the Kurdistan Democratic Party and its return is nothing but an attempt to put pressure on the central government after the issuance of the recent Federal Court decisions regarding the region’s elections.”
He added, "The central government and the Federal Court continue to issue decisions in accordance with the legal and constitutional articles in many files, especially since most of the worsening problems between Baghdad and Erbil are related to the region's financial shares only."

On the other hand, member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Ghiyath Al-Sourji, told “Al-Ma’louma” that “the National Union and the Democratic Party have two geography, green belonging to the Union and yellow belonging to the Democratic Party, and each side has security forces affiliated with it, and therefore the failure of one of the two parties to participate in the equation will lead to Political, security and economic instability in the region.”
He added, "The political map in Kurdistan will change and the balance of the major parties will decrease in the upcoming elections, which carry many surprises, especially after the Federal Court's decision to hold elections for the Kurdistan Regional Parliament and supervise them by the Independent Commission in Baghdad, and adopt the data available in Baghdad regarding voters in the region." ".
On the other hand, political analyst Qasim Al-Tamimi said during his interview with “Al-Ma’louma” that “the division taking place in the region will lead to tensions between the political parties competing for power, as the distancing of Barzani’s party and its refusal to participate in the elections is intended to obstruct the holding of the elections.”

He pointed out that "the Democrat's failure to participate in the elections scheduled to be held next June means pushing Erbil and Dohuk towards boycotting the voting process, which will lead to problems with dire consequences."
He stated, "The developments on the ground indicate that tensions have turned into conflicts at the Kurdish street level, and this direction may be taken with the aim of not holding elections and keeping Barzani's authority in control of the region." Ended 25 n
