The Iraqi Ministry of Environment warned of the danger of high levels of environmental pollution, indicating that pollution includes air, water and soil. He added, "The government pays great attention to the crises of climate change and pollution, and has allocated 90 billion dinars ($67.5 million) to contain the effects of climate change and address pollution, exploit associated gas to reduce carbon emissions, and move towards reducing dependence on fossil fuels and replacing them with clean energy."
