The President of the Republic stresses the importance of supporting the government program

The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, during his meeting yesterday, Sunday, with the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, stressed the importance of supporting the government in implementing its ministerial program.
A presidential statement stated, “The President of the Republic received the President of the Kurdistan Region and his accompanying delegation, and during the meeting, the general situation in the country, its developments, and developments in the region were discussed.”
Rashid stressed, “the necessity of establishing security and stability as a fundamental pillar for the advancement of the country at various levels, especially in the economic, service, and livelihood fields for citizens,” noting “the importance of supporting the government to implement its ministerial program in achieving the aspirations of citizens.”
He pointed out "the importance of visits between the federal government and the regional government to reach common understandings, and strengthen the foundations of constructive and effective dialogue between the two sides to resolve outstanding issues in accordance with the constitution and the law and guarantee the interests of all citizens," stressing "the necessity of strengthening cooperation and coordination between the two sides because of its direct impact on "Resolving common issues and focusing on construction, reconstruction and development projects in the country."
