Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Finance announced the launch of financing the salaries of civil and military retirees for the current month of May.
The ministry’s media said in a statement received by Mawazine News, “The Ministry of Finance/Accounting Department began, today, Thursday, the launch of financing the salaries of civil and military retirees for the current month of May,” indicating that “the procedures for raising salaries will be completed by the National Retirement Authority and the Rafidain and Al-Rasheed banks.” Via their electronic payment cards.
The statement added, "Retirees (civilian and military) who receive text messages can visit bank branches or ATM outlets in Baghdad and the provinces to receive their salaries."
