    Iraqi Dinar revaluation postponed by Central Bank for 5 years says MP Noura al Bajari



    A member of the Parliamentary Economic and Investment Commission, MP Noura al-Bajari.

    Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A member of the Parliamentary Economic and Investment Commission, MP Noura al-Bajari, confirmed on Wednesday that the initiative to revalue and delete zeros from the Iraqi Dinar is ready for implementation by the Central Bank although it will be delayed by five years given the political and security situation of Iraq.

    In an interview with IraqiNews.com al-Bajari said “The policy to delete zeros from the Iraqi currency is ready to be executed by the Central Bank, however, its implementation will be delayed by 5 years on the basis of the extreme security and political situation of the country.”

    Al-Bajari said that the head of the Central Bank of Iraq had previously said that this policy from parliament was accepted and that the zeros will be deleted from the Iraqi currency in the next 5[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]...ys-central-bank

    I would say if your going to listen to "Ole Jacko", then you might as well listen "Noura al-Bajari". Re read above what she supposibly is saying and then think about this, "Is she anyone authorized to say or state this"?     I recall some years back Kuwait was ask when will they rv they gave a date maybe in a year they had an rv the next day and again the following week these thing are said to throw you off just be patient if anybody is looking for a date in the news good luck with that.

    Committee for Economy and Investment parliamentary announced that the deletion of zeros from the Iraqi currency will be working by next year, while the Finance Committee promised to delete the zeros will contribute to raising the value of the dinar. The former committee member Abdul-Hussein al-Yasiri (time) yesterday that (lifting of the

     zeroes from the currency economic necessity to raise the value of the dinar against other currencies). He said (this proposal has Tdarch a long time ago when Shabibi was governor of the Central Bank has agreed to this measure based on economic) scientific data. He explained that Yasiri (deletion of zeros will facilitate the carrying amounts of money for many leading to easy to carry and be stored and handled). For his part, said the economic and investment commission 

    member Jawad al-Bolani said in a statement yesterday that (the deletion of zeros from the currency will be working with next year and the government had a project about deleting three zeros from the currency to reduce inflation quotient currency but it has been postponed). He added that the (foreign exchange reserves at the central bank stood at $ 76.3 billion that traded currency markets
