    On Saturday, President Abdel Latif Gamal Rashid praised Tunisia's decision to lift visas for Iraqis to enter its territory.
    The Presidency’s Media Department said in a statement, seen by Al-Iqtisad News, that “the President of the Republic received a phone call from the President of the Tunisian Republic, Kais Saied, on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha,” noting that “the President and his Tunisian counterpart exchanged congratulations and blessings on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.” Expressing their wishes to the Iraqi and Tunisian peoples for progress and prosperity.”

    She added, "The President of the Republic appreciated Tunisia's decision to lift the visa for Iraqis entering Tunisian territory," stressing that "this decision will contribute to strengthening relations between Iraq and Tunisia and encourage tourism and commercial exchange between the two countries."

    She continued, "The phone call discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples, and the importance of consolidating and developing them in various fields was emphasized in a way that achieves common interests and enhances security and stability in the region."
