    Kurdistan Democratic Party MP Sharif Suleiman stressed on Monday the need for rapid action to stop the Turkish incursion into northern Iraq.

    Suleiman told Al-Maalouma, “Government solutions are still absent to deter these Turkish violations, holding the federal government responsible for the ongoing violations.”
    He added, "The political conflict with the region and in the region was the reason for the continuation of Turkish violations, which requires the federal government to move quickly to put an end to these violations."
    He explained, “Deterring the Turkish incursion is the responsibility of the central government, as it is responsible for drawing up foreign policies and preserving the country’s sovereignty.” End 25 n.
