    [size=45]Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani directed the selection of targeted areas to implement the decision to convert the type of agricultural land to residential and provide services to it.[/size]
    [size=45]A statement by the Prime Minister's Media Office said, "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani chaired a special meeting today, Thursday, to follow up on the implementation of Cabinet Resolution (320 of 2022), regarding changing the type of agricultural lands to residential, as al-Sudani was briefed on the package of measures and instructions taken to implement the decision and the reasons for the delay, and stressed addressing them away from routine determinants."[/size]
    [size=45]According to the statement, the Prime Minister directed to double the efforts to expedite the activation of procedural solutions to address the housing crisis, and to begin providing the best services to residential areas, within the principles of justice, equality and entitlement, which were initially addressed by integrating service and engineering efforts to provide services to unserved areas that were deprived due to the problem of the type of agricultural land and its classification.[/size]
    [size=45]Al-Sudani also directed the selection of specific areas in Baghdad, in which the relevant Cabinet decision and the decision to amend the implementation controls will be implemented through Cabinet Decision (23107 of 2023), and the results will be followed up, after which the selection of other areas in Baghdad and the governorates will be expanded, in order to overcome the service and social problems caused by informal housing in agricultural lands and obstacles to infrastructure projects, according to the statement.[/size]
