    Today, Monday, the leader of the Shiite National Movement, Mr. Muqtada al-Sadr, commented on the assassination of former US President and current presidential candidate Donald Trump.

    Al-Sadr said in a post on the X website, which was followed by Sumaria News, "We must learn a lesson from everything that is happening in our small world... especially what happened in the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/entity/45068/%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%88%D9%84%D8%A7%D9%8A%D8%A7%D8%AA %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%AA%D8%AD%D8%AF%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A3%D9%85%D8%B1%D9%8A%D9%83%D9%8A%D8%A9/ar/]United States of America[/url]... from the struggle for power and the departure of democracy and elections from their peaceful course, with the attempted assassination of the former American president and current presidential candidate (Trump)."



    Al-Sadr added, "Regardless of whether it is real or a clip from a movie I made earlier, what happened indicates that America and its claims that it is a superpower or that it is the (sponsor of freedom) or that it is the (first supporter of democracy) or that it is the spreader of (peace) and the rejecter of violence, are nothing but false and mendacious claims that have no basis in fact. It is a clear message to our youth who lean toward the West, thinking that they are advocates of peace and sponsors of democracy or freedom."

    Al-Sadr continued, "So, let the advocates of the West and liberation take heed and look with a moderate and fair eye and realize that all the actions of the West are lies that have no credibility or transparency, as they say. This assassination is nothing but a series of damning evidence of the West's manipulation of the minds of Arab and Islamic youth and the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/entity/134958/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AB%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AB/ar/]Third World[/url] countries, as they call them, as in their last debate, which was a pointless argument."

Rather, it gave the world a shameful image of that (superpower), and America will no longer be an example of humanity, freedom and democracy, and all countries in the world that follow America's example and even all Eastern societies must remove America from the list of countries that they imitate and revere... because what happened was shameful and a scandal of the heaviest caliber by all standards."

    Al-Sadr said, "The American people must also be aware and understand what happened... and get rid of the arrogance of their criminals who controlled the political events there and deprived everyone of the peaceful transfer of power."
