Today, Monday (August 19, 2024), Maysan Criminal Court issued two rulings against the former director of the Agricultural Bank, with severe imprisonment for two years for each ruling.
The media center of the Supreme Judicial Council stated in a statement received by "Baghdad Today" that "the convict, in cooperation with other defendants, disbursed sums of money to two people in violation of the controls and instructions, which caused harm and waste of the Agricultural Bank's funds."
He added, "The two rulings were issued against the convict in accordance with the provisions of Article 340 of the Penal Code."
