[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / Minister of Trade Athir Al-Ghariri stressed the importance of developing and advancing the Iraqi private sector to play its role in sustainable development.
The ministry said in a statement: "The minister visited today the Private Sector Development Department and met with its Director General, who provided a detailed explanation of the department's work and the relationship of its departments with private sector unions, as well as training programs and future plans."
Minister Al-Ghariri stressed "the importance of the department in supporting, developing and advancing the Iraqi private sector to play its role in sustainable development, especially since the government program announced by the government includes priority and great interest in the private sector to play its leading role in the construction and reconstruction process."
The minister also stressed "the importance of training courses to qualify the ministry's employees and other sectors concerned with the private sector in a way that contributes to improving work, overcoming obstacles, and learning about new experiences in the technical, administrative, investment, financial, business and foreign relations fields."
He pointed out that all support "will be for the Private Sector Department to implement its training program and implement its plans for the relevant departments, especially with regard to international trade and promoting Iraqi goods, as well as the field of investment and preparing the investment map and with regard to developing trade and relations with the unions concerned with the private sector."
The Minister directed to address all obstacles facing the work of this department by preparing training halls and their requirements, as well as providing full support for holding the Private Sector Development Forum that the department will hold early next September.
Al-Ghariri praised the department's efforts in the process of determining food prices, in which it has made significant progress, as well as the rural women's support initiative in which government sectors participated, and its goal is to provide support to women and support them in a way that contributes to them being a counterpart to men in building society. / End 7[/rtl]
