Today, Monday, the representative of the Coordination Framework, Aqil Al-Fatlawi, expected that the House of Representatives would move towards amending the internal regulations of the Council, specifically Article 12 of it regarding the election of the Speaker of the Council.
Al-Fatlawi told Al-Maalouma Agency, "There are signs that the Sunni political blocs will decide on the matter of presenting a consensus candidate for the presidency of parliament, indicating that it is in the interest of the Sunni blocs to resolve the issue."
He called on "the Sunni forces to quickly agree on a candidate to secure the position, expecting the House of Representatives to move towards amending the internal regulations of the House." End / 25H
