Independent MP Mohammed Anouz identified three political parties responsible for the file of selecting the new parliament speaker today, Monday.

Anouz told Al-Maalouma Agency, "The crisis of the presidency of the Council of Representatives needs a real solution, indicating that the election of a new president for the Council requires a political agreement between the Shiites, Sunnis and Kurds."
He added, "There is a difference between the Sunni forces regarding the selection of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, in addition to the existence of high-ceilinged ambitions to obtain the position within the component, which created competition and great disagreement within its political blocs."
Anouz stressed the need for the Sunni blocs to agree and identify one candidate and present him to parliament, noting that there is interference from political parties that support one Sunni party at the expense of another party. End / 25 H
