    Information / Baghdad...
A member of the State of Law coalition, Haider Al-Lami, said on Friday that Parliament is dying because of the Sunni parties
Al-Lami told Al-Maalouma, “The Sunni parties are still unstable, and are living in a state of division and fragmentation, and the multiplicity of names that appear from time to time due to divisions.”
He added, "The division within the Sunni House parties prompted the sacked Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, to direct insults at his opponents and competitors through political platforms, and this method does not befit a figure who was at the top of the pyramid of legislative authority."
He pointed out that "the parliament is dying because there is no oversight or monitoring, in addition to the lack of legislation due to the absence of a parliament speaker, and this is the responsibility of the Sunni parties." End 25N
