    {Security: Al Furat News} The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Interior arrested a network that carried out illegal currency transfers abroad.
    A statement received by {Euphrates News} stated that “the intelligence agency’s detachments specialized in combating organized crime in Baghdad/Karkh received information indicating the existence of an illegal network that transfers money outside Iraq using electronic payment cards.”
    He added, "Immediately, an intelligence team was formed and the locations of the accused were identified. The place was raided and the accused, numbering (6), were arrested. They had (500) electronic payment cards in their possession, which they used to transfer money outside Iraq illegally."
    The statement continued, "A light weapon (two pistols and two rifles) and other materials used in money transfers were also seized."
