According to a document issued by committee member Alaa Al-Haidari, obtained by Sumaria News, it stated: Based on Article (3) of the Integrity and Illicit Gains Commission Law No. (30) of 2011, as amended, which listed the Commission’s work in contributing to preventing and combating corruption, including Clause (First), which stipulated ((Investigating corruption cases in accordance with the provisions of this law by investigators and under the supervision of the competent investigating judge and in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure))

In the context of exercising oversight duties based on the provisions of Article (61/Seventh/A) of the Constitution of the Republic of Iraq and Article (15/First and Second) and Article (29) of the Law of the Council of Representatives and its Formations No. (13) of 2018, and as your body works to prevent and combat corruption by investigating and following up on corruption cases, we would like to inform you, through the information received by our office, of the existence of a significant inflation in the funds of some employees of the Central Oil Company whose names are listed below, which raises suspicions of rapid enrichment at the expense of money, coinciding with the current Director General of the company assuming this position at the beginning of this year, through their assumption of positions and their repetition in many important committees, especially the committees that include a financial aspect, where movable and immovable funds accumulated with them quickly, in addition to the presence of a number of employees of the Ministry of Oil whose names are listed below, who also raise suspicions of corruption and inflation of funds, according to what was stated in the document.

Al-Haidari said in the document, for the above and to preserve public money and contribute quickly to uncovering criminal acts, we hope that the necessary legal measures will be taken to investigate the matter and inform them.
