The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced the mechanism for registering for optional social security and the purpose of its adoption.
Director of the Retirement and Social Security Department for Workers at the Ministry of Labor, Kholoud Hayran, said, “The ministry has begun adopting optional insurance for companies, due to the lack of a sufficient database for workers in companies.”
She explained that "activating the optional guarantee is the first step towards collecting a database of those registered through the electronic platform by entering the person's data and phone number, after which he receives the guarantee number and obtains approval."
She added, "The staff is working on the IT line to activate the optional insurance and subscriptions with all employees."
