The Parliamentary Integrity Committee decided, today, Wednesday (August 14, 2024), to host the Chairman of the Investment Commission to discuss a number of files, including the mechanism for pricing residential units.
Baghdad Today obtained a document issued by the committee addressed to the Chairman of the Investment Commission, which stated that “based on the provisions of Article (61 / Second) of the Constitution and Article (27) of the Iraqi Council of Representatives Law No. (13) of 2018 and Article (77 / First) of the Internal Regulations of the Council of Representatives No. (1) of 2022 for oversight and auditing purposes, our committee would like to host you on Wednesday at twelve noon at our committee headquarters.”
She added that "the hosting will include discussing the mechanism for pricing residential units and how to control those prices, and the reasons for violating Article (15) of the House of Representatives Law No. 13 of 2018 in many correspondences, in addition to discussing the waste incineration project, provided that a detailed review is brought along with all the priorities related to the subject."
