The media office of the Minister of Oil, Hayan Abdul-Ghani Al-Sawad, denied, today, Thursday (August 29, 2024), the news circulating about his resignation, stressing that he is continuing his work.
The office said in a statement received by "Baghdad Today": "Some media outlets circulated news that Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil Hayan Abdul-Ghani Al-Sawad resigned."
He stressed that "this news is false and that the minister is continuing his work."
