    Blessings of Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, today, the Presidency State of Qatar's Arabic [24].

    According
    to a Foreign Ministry statement, the Agency has received all Iraq [in],
    a copy of it, "Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari presided over the Arabic
    League Council at the ministerial level on Sunday, 24/3/2013 opening
    meeting by confirming the achievements of the Presidency of Iraq Arabic
    Summit session [23], indicating the positions of Iraq and clear Arabic
    region issues, particularly the Palestinian issue and the Syrian crisis.

    Clear
    in his Wazir, according to the statement, that "Iraq endorsed and
    supported the legitimate aspirations of all the people of Syria,
    condemned the violence and killings and called to stop the bloodshed and
    adhering to a political and peaceful solution and supporting national
    dialogue and reject all forms of foreign interference."

    With
    regard to the representation of the Syrian opposition, between the "seat
    reservation to give Iraq any Arab country, including Syria, to seat any
    movement because it is contrary to the Charter of the University."

    It
    added, "Zebari, referring to Iraq's achievements during his presidency
    of the Summit in terms of both initiatives or international conferences
    and hosted by Arabic Baghdad throughout the whole year."

    The
    Ministry, "Zebari acknowledged the Summit [24] Arabic, to Sheikh Hamad
    bin Jassim Al-Thani, the Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister in
    Arabic."

    However, "Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem was a Presidency of
    Qatar thanked the Iraqi presidency, as Secretary-General of the Arabic
    League where Word of thanks the people and the Government of the
    Republic of Iraq for its achievements, adding that Baghdad returned
    capital to Arabs by those conferences and meetings that took place
    during the Presidency of Iraq".

    The Council discussed several
    issues including the Palestinian issue and the Syrian crisis and the
    development and reform of the Arabic League as well as the issues of
    economic development in the Comoros, Somalia, the Sudan and elsewhere.

    The
    Arabic Summit hosted in Iraq Baghdad late March attended by 10 heads of
    State, headed by President Jalal Talabani, the Iraqi delegation was led
    by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.

    The agenda of the Summit, Arab
    leaders for discussion and decision-making, nine items dealing with the
    Arabic issues including terrorism and ways to combat it, as well as
    items dealing with the Palestinian issue and the situation in Syria and
    Yemen and Somalia, and leaders will adopt the final Summit statement.

    He
    participated in the Summit meeting, the Emir of Kuwait, the President
    of Sudan, President and Chairman of the NTC, and the Palestinian
    President, and the Tunisian President, speaker of the National Assembly
    of Algeria after Algerian President taken ill, Omani Parliament Speaker,
    and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs as head of the UAE
    delegation, Prime Minister of Jordan as President of his country's
    delegation to the Summit, the President of the Comoros, and is expected
    to be attended by a number of other Presidents, including President of
    the military Council in Egypt, as well as the Iraqi President.

    As
    the Secretary-General attended the Summit of the organisation of
    Islamic cooperation, and United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon,
    and a number of other prominent international figures.Finished

    Kool, I like Zebari, he ask the UNSC to lift VII on March 21 this month and he knows what we want to know.

    You're welcome, & Yes I was reading this and remembered last years summit. A lot of big time leaders of the middle east were there including Ban Ki Moon. They spoke of activating something, forgot what it was. But now as you pointed it out Neno, they will adopt the final summit statement. Wish I knew what that statement will entail, but all is going good so far :)

    Foreign
    Minister Hoshyar Zebari Sunday, Iraq foreign policy since 2003 by
    advocating openness to all Arabic States, stressing that Iraq won't be
    any dictatorship, called for uprooting "terrorism."

    Zebari said
    during his speech at the preparatory meeting for the Arab Foreign
    Ministers Council Arabic League at the Summit level, "the foreign policy
    of the Republic of Iraq since 2003 has been so far call for openness to
    all Arabic States and stand with them in all their fateful and
    solidarity with them and with Arabic peoples and their demands."

    Zebari
    said "Iraq has sought to achieve its integration in the regional and
    Arab surroundings, isolated and hostile to everyone at the time of the
    former regime, Iraq worked to turn the page on the past and
    transcending, and love, cooperation and fraternity for all to normalize
    relations, Arabic".

    Zebari said that "the attitude of Iraq from
    the Syrian crisis is clear and obvious from the very beginning supported
    and support all the legitimate aspirations of the Syrian people in
    freedom and democracy and to draw their own future and to condemn
    violence and killings and stop the bloodshed, and adhering to a
    political and peaceful solution and supporting national dialogue and
    reject all forms of foreign intervention in the crisis in order to
    preserve the unity and integrity of its people."

    In another
    context, "Zebari expressed Iraq's condemnation of terrorism in all its
    forms and manifestations, whatever its origin and whatever its motives
    and justifications", calling on all States to "Arabic" uproot and
    draining the financial and intellectual factors that feed, and renounce
    extremism and radicalism and steer clear of fatwas inciting sedition and
    inciting sectarian strife. "

    Zebari called "stand up against all
    the fatwas of satisfaction from here or there and seek to address them
    in order to extinguish the fire of sedition which seek to ignite the
    region."

    The Iraqi capital of Baghdad hosted (29 March 2012) the
    Arabic Summit event is considered the most organized by Iraq since 2003,
    and participated in the Conference, which was presided over by Iraq 21
    Arab countries except Syria and attended by nine Arab leaders.
