Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The head of al-Ahrar bloc, Baha al-Araji, announced supporting the decision of the parliament chairmanship to punish the absent MPs and announce their names in the newspapers.
Araji stated “The parliament chairmanship did the best decision which is to punish the absent MPs and announce their names in the newspaper where it is a necessary decision due to the non-adherence of the MPs in attending the parliament sessions.”
“The continuity of the absence of the MPs will make al-Ahrar bloc to hold a press conference and announce the names of the absent MPs without any hesitation,” he added.
He called “The parliament chairmanship to reduce the holiday of the parliament into one month rather than two and to make the session continue for the next week to compensate the delay happened in the last sessions.”
