Baghdad (NINA) – Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki appointed Deputy Prime
Minister for Energy Affairs, Hussain al-Shahristani, acting Foreign
Minister, instead of Hoshyar Zebari, and Minister of Justice, Hasan
al-Shammari, Minister of Trade, instead of Khairalla Babiker.
In a
statement to the press on Tuesday, Apr. 23, an official source said
that Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki decided to appoint his Deputy,
Hussain al-Shahristani, acting Foreign Minister, instead of Hoshyar
Zebari, who is given a compulsory vacation.
Maliki decided also
to appoint Justice Minister Hasan al-Shammari, acting Minister of Trade
instead of Khairalla Babiker, who is given a compulsory vacation too. /
