    Announced Wasit management, its intention to resolve all truckers problems Zurbatiyah port, east of the province, (180 km southeast of Baghdad), revealing the formation of anIraqi committee Iranian joint organization of the port and address the outstanding about it issues work, while expressed Iran 's keenness on more cooperation to increase trade exchange between the two countries through the port, and the establishment of a free trade area to contribute to the revitalization of the provinces of Wasit economy and Eelam. 
    the governor of Wasit, owner behind the valley, in an interview to the (long - Presse), "a delegation from thelocal government visited Zurbatiyah border port on the back of the demonstrations by the the number of truck drivers against the procedures in it , "noting that" the delegation met with Iranian officials , including thedeputy governor of Ilam, the master of a military, and Mayor Mehran Nasseri, to look at the mechanisms used in the entry of trucks and finding appropriate solutions to the outstanding issues in the port. " 
    He stressed the valley , that " the two sides agreed to overcome the existing difficulties and work together to increase trade and economic between the two countries exchange level, and prevent the entry of goods damaged and expired and banned substances, such as drugs, and zero tolerance holders have those who are caught in the port." 
    For his part, deputy governor of Ilam, during the meeting , which was attended by (long - Presse), " theIranian authorities are keen to enhance the work of Zurbatiyah port , which is the most vital in the trade exchange between the two countries, as well as visitors to the holy shrines , " noting that " the Iranian government and the authorities in Ilam province, is seeking to cooperate more in the field of trade and there are active steps to establish a free trade area to contribute to the revitalization of the provinces of Wasit economy and Eelam. "

    the Zurbatiyah port is one of the most important ports with Iran and are through trade exchange between thetwo countries in addition to the entry and exit of visitors, has seen in recent years , the development of large and rehabilitation operations in order to accommodate trade movement , which has seen a dramatic rise in the time between the two countries is underway to build a new port at a cost of up to about 56 billion dinars.
