Stars' Tyler Seguin suffering from fracture in heel

The Dallas Stars say star centre Tyler Seguin has been diagnosed with a hairline fracture in his heel.
The 24-year-old pulled out of the upcoming World Cup of Hockey tournament on Tuesday because of the injury and was replaced on Team Canada's roster by Clinton, Ont. native Ryan O'Reilly.
"Upon returning to Dallas yesterday, Tyler Seguin underwent an MRI that detected a hairline fracture in his heel," Stars GM Jim Nill said in a statement on Saturday. "His status for training camp will be re-evaluated in one week."
It's thought that Seguin might have been injured when he tumbled feet-first into the end boards during Canada's exhibition opener against the United States on Friday.

The Dallas Stars say star centre Tyler Seguin has been diagnosed with a hairline fracture in his heel.
The 24-year-old pulled out of the upcoming World Cup of Hockey tournament on Tuesday because of the injury and was replaced on Team Canada's roster by Clinton, Ont. native Ryan O'Reilly.
