    This came during a meeting between the Foreign Minister, the Prime Minister of South Korea, Hwang Kyu Anne, in the capital, Seoul, to discuss "ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries to serve the interests of the two friendly peoples, and the overall security situation, the political, and the efforts of the Iraqis and their victories achieved in the war against Daesh gangs terrorist "according to a ministry statement received (long-Presse) a copy of it.
    He said al-Jaafari, said that "Iraq is looking to take advantage of South Korea's experiences by opening new horizons of joint cooperation, and increase the volume of trade and investment," and expressed "thanks Iraq and appreciation for the position of South Korea to support it in various fields."
    The minister, Korean companies are urged to "work in Iraq," noting that "the terrorists Daesh pose a real threat to the continents of the world and its all, who today suffer consecutive losses at the hands of the sons of Iraq, the brave who sacrifice their blood in defense of the sovereignty of Iraq on behalf of the countries of the whole world." .
    He called on al-Jaafari, the international community to "stand by the Iraqi people, and to provide assistance and support necessary so that the elimination of terrorism and the reconstruction of the infrastructure of the Iraqi cities," stressing the need to "visits between officials of both countries exchanged in the framework of strengthening bilateral relations and exchange of experiences."
    For his part, Prime Minister of South Korea, "his country's keenness to strengthen bilateral cooperation with Iraq and to work on the reconstruction of the cities, and contribute to the establishment of security and stability in Iraq," noting that "Korea is seeking to increase the volume of investments in Iraq, and the establishment of large-scale projects in various provinces. "
    He praised QNB, "the victories that Iraqis have achieved in their war against Daesh gangs and terrorist look full of victory, and the elimination of terrorism, and the liberation of the Iraqi territory during the next term," revealing his intention "to visit Iraq soon as this has a significant impact on the deepening of relations, and increase the size of cooperation between Baghdad and Seoul. "
    The foreign minister, went on Sunday, (the 15th of January the current 2017), to South Korea to discuss bilateral relations and economic cooperation between the two countries, and the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding on strengthening bilateral exchanges and cooperation in the diplomatic and joint research training projects.
