    Asked the National Union of Journalists, the Iraqi security forces, the need to provide the necessary protection for journalists in the battle of the restoration of the right coast of the city of Mosul , which began on Sunday. 
    This comes after the union appeal that dozens of journalists and technical personnel exposure in the local Iraqi media organizations, to repeated injuries while covering fighting between Iraqi security forces and the organization "Daesh." In addition to the killing of nearly 35 journalists since the start of military operations against the terrorist organization in the tenth of June 2014 
    and calls for union actors responsible for the presence of journalists in covering the battles, to the importance of relying on the basis of professional standards in dealing with media personnel and urged them not to progress with the front pieces in military confrontations to ensure their safety. It recommends the union colleagues who cover the battles, the need to adopt professional standards of safety and not to rush to cover the events and make sure to wear helmets and shields and learn geography of the areas where battles there and attention to the movement that reduce risks and prevent Tardkm any injury. It also calls for the union of all the media , which sends its staff to cover the fighting in the city of Mosul, to stay in constant contact with them and provide them with maps printed or electronic, as well as first aid and helmets and shields of lead cans. 
    Colleagues also warns not to get close to the front lines of battles, even if they believe that a safe or were wearing helmets and shields situation, the regulation is "Daesh" targeting media personnel essentially trying to prevent them from covering the battles, so would prefer taking instructions on an ongoing basis by the responsible for the area of security forces the presence of media teams. 
    And stresses the National Union of Journalists, the importance of the transfer events do not diminish the importance of preserving the safety and the lives of journalists, and the need to exchange instructions among themselves , especially those who have been previously trained to cover the conflict zones.
