Our ears long for the sound of an ocean. We let it wash over our feet as we sit on a beach. There is nothing else like water to make us refreshed, restored, and renewed. When we are drowning in life, there is something about water that is healing, helping and overwhelmingly peaceful.
What else do we really thirst for?
Sometimes we are thirsty in a different way. We walk around in a spiritually dry desert. We feel drained instead of refreshed. When we are in over our head, we can wrap ourselves in peace if we desire living water.
Jesus can fill our thirsty soul. Take a moment today to seek out the One who offers living water.
