[ltr][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]BAGHDAD - The Ministry of Education has announced measures to protect the teacher after increasing attacks on educational cadres in recent times.
According to the ministry's statement, Education Minister Mohammad Iqbal al-Sidli stressed that "the protection of teachers and teachers is a duty and necessity," stressing that "take all legal methods and to direct sanctions against the right of transgressors."
Iqbal added that "the ministry decided at the meeting of the opinion board to deprive the student, whether in the formal education and evening and external performance of the general examinations for two years if attacked any kind of assault on the director of the exam center or observers, inside the testing center or outside with taking all legal procedures against him" .
The statement said that "this decision is one of a series of actions directed by His Excellency Dr. Iqbal to protect the educational family, and to maintain the prestige of the teacher as a messenger of science raised by successive generations and to maintain the rigidity of education and the performance of examinations in all transparency and security.
