Saudi Crown Prince Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud has agreed to extend an OPEC agreement on reducing OPEC oil production for 2018, the Russian Tass news agency reported.
"The Kingdom confirms its readiness to extend the agreement on reducing oil production, which proved its vitality in restoring balance of supply and demand," Prince Mohammed bin Salman said.
The statement added that "the growing demand for oil has led to the absorption of the growth of oil production of rock in full."
Saudi Arabia has said it is in the process of reaching a compromise with the Russian Federation on the issue of reducing oil production ahead of a meeting of representatives of OPEC countries with the partners of the organization planned for November 2.
