The Ministry of Electricity announced the total amount of electricity wasted in the country, which is attributed to various reasons.
The Ministry said in a statement received by "Trend Press" on a copy on Tuesday, that "it has reached the production of energy about 16 thousand megawatts, but the wasted amount exceeded half of this amount because of excesses and excesses."
"The privatization of electricity collection will reduce energy consumption and in turn reduce the cost of paid bills," Mohammad Hashim, director general of the ministry's energy distribution department, said earlier.
