    The Integrity Commission announced the issuance of a 15-year prison term in absentia to the accused (Karama Hassan Alwan), director of the Rafidain Bank, the former Reconstruction and Housing Branch, for exploiting her job to cause intentional damage to public funds.
     
    A statement issued by the Investigations Department of the Commission received a copy of the trend on Sunday, in which it discussed the details of the case investigated by the Integrity Commission and sent it to the judiciary, confirmed that the convicted fugitive caused damage to public money amounted to (1,400,808,099) billion dinars; Along with other defendants, to buy four forged instruments on the basis that they were withdrawn from the General Phosphate Company in favor of one of the defendants while working as director of Rafidain Bank - Reconstruction and Housing Branch.
     
    The statement added that "the court, after reviewing the statements of the legal representative of the Rafidain Bank, who requested the complaint against the fugitive accused, and the administrative investigation recommended by the court, in addition to the instruments and the priorities of the exchange and the presumption of escape, reached sufficient conviction and convictions of conviction, Of the Penal Code in terms of Articles 47, 48 and 49 thereof. 
     
    The decision included issuing an arrest warrant for the fugitive conviction, carrying out a fundamental search for it, supporting the seizure of its movable and immovable property, and retaining the injured party (Rafidain Bank) the right to claim compensation before the civil courts.
