Iraq is ready to offer its security expertise to Egypt and the countries of the region
Author: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] 21/12/2017 12:00 AM [rtl] BAGHDAD / Al-Sabah: Our ambassador to Cairo, Habib al-Sadr, expressed Iraq's readiness to provide its security expertise in the fight against terrorism by exchanging information and enhancing the intelligence effort with Egypt and the countries of the region. He said that Iraq is interested in developing relations with Egypt at the level of combating terrorism through exchanging information and strengthening the intelligence effort, training and armament, especially as the two countries are converging in the challenges and in their interest to complement the roles in continuing to fight terrorism at the political, diplomatic and military levels . He added that "the two countries that have been able to achieve this constructive cooperation, it will reflect positively on the regional security system, noting that Iraq has after long labor in the fight against terrorism expertise, information and security capabilities, and we can provide to Egypt and all countries in the region. Al-Sadr said that Iraq is saddened by the occurrence of any terrorist operation in Egypt and we look at its strength and security stability as one of the important factors for the stability of the region. He stressed that the guerrilla war on countries and societies has no borders.
