Although it was scheduled to arrive all the vouchers of the new ration card to the province of Sulaymaniyah province of Kurdistan and distributed to the agents, but the director of the ration card in Sulaymaniyah Yassin Mahmoud Hama said that because of the lack of Kurdish writing on the card, the provincial government does not agree to receive These cards.
Hama said in a press statement that the representative of his department was waiting in Baghdad late on Thursday for the purpose of receipt of ration cards for the purpose of bringing them to Sulaymaniyah, but the Directorate General of Trade of the Kurdistan Region informed the representative of the Department not to receive those cards.
He added that the reason for not receiving the new cards by the region back to the edition of the card for this year did not record the information in Kurdish as it was in previous years.
He added that the department is now waiting for the General Directorate of Trade of the region to show approval to bring the printed card or that Baghdad to reprint other cards for the region.
He explained that Baghdad had informed the card was printed before the events of 1 and 6 October last and has nothing to do with the current situation.
This comes at a time when the cost of printing cards of the Kurdistan region about one and a half billion dinars, wondering whether Baghdad would agree to re-print because the region believes that the matter behind the political action.
