    Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi met with the ministerial energy committee and discussed a number of issues related to electricity, oil and water resources.
     
    A statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office received a copy of the "Trend Press" on Tuesday, that "in order to seek to reduce the waste of electricity and provide citizens with a continuous discussion of the mechanisms used to maintain networks and increase the generation capacity and collection, and directed the Ministry of Electricity to provide an integrated study in light of what he discussed The Council to provide support to the Ministry of Electricity departments of the collectors and readers of standards and maintenance and presented the study to the Council of Ministers for approval.
     
    According to the statement "was approved to increase the quantities of processing crude oil refineries to provide oil derivatives for citizens, including citizens of the provinces of Kurdistan."
     
    And approved the adoption of a unified price of fuel oil supplied to all government laboratories and private sector projects, and was approved to be one of the companies of the Ministry of Electricity work with the company executing for the completion of the station Salahuddin steam.
     
    He pointed out that "the Council discussed the issue of water scarcity and the development of a program to deal with this serious file to ensure the availability of water for all citizens for the purposes of agriculture and drinking."
     
    The Council agreed to "the Ministry of Oil to sign the memorandum of investment associated gas emitted from the field of the River Omar with a solid oil company."
