The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI)'s foreign exchange sales rose to $ 161.68 million from $ 150.69 million on Monday, an increase of $ 10.99 million.
The central, in a statement obtained "economy News" a copy of it, the exchange rate amounted to 1190 dinars per dollar, in the auction held with the participation of 32 banks, 5 companies for financial transfer.
"The total sales for the day amounted to about 168.58 million dollars," the bank said.
The volume of money sold to boost bank balances abroad was $ 160.87 million, while cash sales were estimated at $ 810,000.
The Central Bank said in a statement that the sale of the amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad at a price of 1190 dinars per dollar, while the sale of cash will be at the same price.
