    [ltr]US forces have begun to reinforce their military positions and fortifications in the northern city of Manbeg to confront any possible Turkish operation that could include the city in the fight against terrorism.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Local sources said that the reinforcements included the dispatch of about 300 soldiers, in addition to a large number of armored vehicles and heavy equipment, to the area between the city of Manbj and the "shield of the Euphrates" in the northern countryside of Aleppo, and that these forces were brought from the US military base in the town of Srin.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The United States currently has three monitoring points on the line between the Euphrates Shield and the areas under the control of the Kurdish People's Protection Units in the villages of Tokhar, Halongi and Dadat.[/ltr]
    [ltr]During the last three days, the US military began patrolling the Sajur River along the Syrian-Turkish border.[/ltr]
    [ltr]It is noteworthy that Turkey is demanding the United States to remove the Kurdish fighters from the city of Manbj Arab-majority, and hand over the area to the real owners.[/ltr]
