The American judiciary supports the drop of compensation for the Palestine Liberation Organization

The US Supreme Court on Monday upheld a $ 655.5 million US jury that the Palestinian Authority and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO ) had ordered to pay, the so-called Sokolov case.
The court, according to " Russia Today ", rejected the families' appeal of a lower court ruling in 2016 that overturned the jury's award under the Anti-Terrorism Act, which allows victims of international terrorism to sue Americans for damages in US courts.
The Sokolov case is one of the cases brought against the PNA and the PLO in US courts by right-wing groups trying to obtain financial compensation for the murder and wounding of US and Israeli citizens.
The case was brought before the courts in 2004 by 11 American families who died in 2002 in the Karni Shomron settlement in the northern West Bank . The plaintiffs demanded compensation of about $ 900 million.
