     A member of the Parliamentary Services Committee Tawfiq al-Kaabi said on Monday that the law of the release of agricultural land was obstructed and removed from voting after the intervention of the alliance of forces and the objection to pass it, indicating that many Iraqis are waiting for this law in order to extract their land and benefit from housing, Objection of the said authority.
    Al-Kaabi said in a statement to Al-Maaloumah that "the House of Representatives has read the first and second reading of the agricultural land law, and it was hoped that it will be voted on during the last session of the parliament.
    He added that "the coalition of forces deliberately obstructed the law of secretion, and was not satisfied with all the justifications we gave him to vote on the law," noting that "MP Ahmed al-Masari expressed strong opposition to the law and therefore did not vote on the law."
    "The law will not be voted on during the current session, even if it is included in the agenda of the parliament, as the coalition forces stop voting against him, which makes him go to the next session after the elections," adding that "the law serves a large segment of the owners The law provides for the release of all agricultural land surrounded by residential areas and cut off the water quota 15 years ago. "
    Al-Kaabi pointed out that "Iraq is living a housing crisis amid high prices of real estate, as voting on the law was the most appropriate solution to address the crisis and achieve the aspirations of Iraqis." Ending / 25 n
