The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers referred, Tuesday, the files of the demands of the people of the belt areas of Baghdad and the provinces, to the operating room formed by the Council of Ministers Resolution No. (132) for the year 2018.
A source in the secretariat said that the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers receives daily the demands of the demonstrators and the protesters in Baghdad and the provinces on the provision of basic services, as well as the referral of a number of them by the members of the House of Representatives, and use as a means of pressure on the government on the one hand and election propaganda on the other.
The source pointed out that the decision included the formation of an operations room headed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, the membership of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and a number of related bodies. It follows up the basic service needs in the capital and the provinces.
