Governor of Maysan discusses with the Turkish ambassador the file of water
05/5/2018 12:00 am [rtl]Architecture / Saad Hassan The Turkish Ambassador in Iraq Fatih Yildiz praised the efforts of Maysan province in the field of reconstruction and returned it from the important provinces, indicating the possibility of establishing some service projects and capacity development through the agency (TEKA) of the Turkish government. Yildiz told Al-Sabah that Maysan is the best province in Iraq at the level of age and investment, expressing his country's readiness to open horizons of economic, trade and technical cooperation, setting up projects and encouraging Turkish investors to invest in Maysan. This came during a meeting with the Governor of Maysan Ali Douai with the Turkish Ambassador to discuss the mechanism of developing relations and cooperation between the province and the Republic of Turkey. The Governor of Al-Sabah said, "In the presence of the technical assistant of Governor Ali Sabeeh Al-Kanani, the economic and technical advisor and the Turkish side of the commercial attaché and the coordinator of the TEKA Agency, the water and investment issue will be discussed and the rights of all parties, especially Iraq, will be respected . He pointed to the Turkish side's demand to consider the damage caused to the southern governorates because of the scarcity of water by providing a detailed explanation of the age and investment in the province and ideas for the development of relations between the two sides. He pointed out that during the meeting, the Turkish ambassador urged the need to include the province of Maysan Turkish loan provided by Turkey to Iraq during the Kuwait Conference and other loans in the future, and discuss the support of the University of Maysan through cooperation with Turkish universities and inviting Turkish companies to invest in Maysan, especially in the industrial sector where there (4000) dunums in addition to agriculture, tourism, health and others.
