Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi denied on Tuesday the calls raised to cancel the parliamentary elections.
Abadi said in response to a question by the correspondent of the Agency / Information / at a press conference, "The calls that have been raised about the abolition of the results of the parliamentary elections is incorrect."
The Prime Minister expressed his "surprise at the announcement by the Independent High Electoral Commission about entering the country in civil war if the results of the elections were canceled."
The House of Representatives has decided, on Monday, to cancel the results of the elections abroad and displaced, and the re-counting and manual counting by 10 percent. Ending / 25
