[ltr]BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Sadr's leader Moqtada al-Sadr said on Saturday he was not optimistic about the fate of the recent legislative elections in Iraq after many objections to the results.[/ltr]
[ltr]In response to a question on the local elections, Sadr said, "This question is premature," saying: "We ask God to end the legislative elections for good and peace first."[/ltr]
[ltr]The Iraqi elections are still plagued by the results of the participants and questionable of the effectiveness of the boycotters while the United Nations warned of the seriousness of the situation in Iraq in the event of a recount and counting in Iraq, such as Kirkuk, noting that 6 Kurdish parties confirmed the existence of fraud in the election, Arab and international government agencies and political blocs to work on rigging the elections in Anbar and Baghdad and with the elections abroad in the office of Jordan in connection with these two provinces.[/ltr]
[ltr]In a second question to him about the possibility of the return of Iraqi Jews who were displaced in the first decades of the last century, Sadr responded by saying, "If their loyalty to Iraq, welcome them."[/ltr]
